About Us
The LaSTEM Region 3 STEM Center, or BayouSTEM, operates in partnership with Fletcher Technical Community College. BayouSTEM serves communities in Lafourche, Assumption and Terrebonne Parishes.
The mission of BayouSTEM is to promote STEM literacy and provide equitable access to STEM opportunities and career training to prepare the Region 3 STEM Workforce for the future. The goals of BayouSTEM are to identify STEM gaps and assets in the Bayou Region and identify stakeholder goals, prepare the STEM workforce for the future, remove barriers to STEM access, increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM.

Christie Landry
Christie has had a keen interest in STEM and education for most of her career. With a background in Biological Sciences and over a decade of teaching experience at the collegiate level, she is working to bring STEM programming to the Bayou Region.

Trevor Vicks
Trevor's professional career started in engineering. Along his journey education discovered him, which birthed his passion for STEM education. He now seeks to support the Bayou Region by providing STEM resources and programs that will enrich the area.
