About Us:
FRC Team #9699, Bayou Crusaders, is the ONLY FRC Robotics team in the Bayou Region. We are a community-based robotics team focused on educating ourselves and others about robotics and STEM.
Our team was founded in January of 2024. We are composed of 12 students in 8th-12th grade from schools in Lafourche and Terrebonne Parishes.
FIRST — For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology — aims to ensure its programs have lasting and positive impacts on participants across all demographic groups.
Our Mission:
- to learn, collaborate and innovate as a robotics team while embracing and fostering a passion for STEM
to develop our robotics skills, compete with integrity, and inspire others to explore the exciting world of robotics and STEM. - Through our efforts, we hope to inspire others to pursue STEM-based activities and education and to make STEM and robotics accessible to all.
